Dr. Dreher was born in Laurel, MD but grew up in Ballston Spa when his parents
returned to the area, graduating from Ballston Spa High Sc hool
in 1981. He attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts,
graduating in 1985. Then it was off to Columbia University Dental School in New
York City, graduating in 1990. Dr. Dreher completed his residency at Goldwater
Memorial Hospital, New York City, in 1991.
Dr. Dreher began private practice in 1992, opening his first office at 7 Union
Street in Ballston Spa. In October of 2001, the new state-of-the-art office at
410 Rowland Street opened.
Dr. Dreher has incorporated the latest in technology into his practice. The
office is equipped with a Cerec restoration unit (many patients can receive
crowns and onlays completed in only one visit!), a Diagnodent for early cavity
detection, air abrasion for small fillings without drilling, state-of-the-art
sterilization equipment, a laser and an in-office one hour bleaching unit.
Patients can expect to receive the best in customer service, with a beverage
center, paraffin waxing, CD players and movie glasses among the items offered
for patient enjoyment. Dr. Dreher and his team focus on patient education and
providing each patient with high quality treatment in a friendly and comfortable
atmosphere of mutual respect.
Dr. Dreher is a firm believer in continuing education for himself and his team.
Dr. Dreher’s postgraduate coursework includes programs on the latest in
infection control, The Pride Institute, implants, pediatric dentistry, laser
certification and Cerec training among others.
Dr. Dreher and his wife of ten years, Kelly, live locally with their three
children, Michael, Brandon and Arianna. In his spare time, Dr. Dreher enjoys
spending time with his family, camping and is an avid sports fan. Dr. Dreher is
a member of the Better Business Bureau, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce,
the Fourth District New York State Dental Association, American Dental
Association and the Saratoga County Dental Society.
